Coral potato
In this biomorphic ceramic sculpture, I sought to evoke a fossilized reef, combining radiating circular forms and textured cavities. These subtle nuances create a mineral effect, as if the piece had been eroded by time or water. I worked with a subtle palette of gray, white, and greenish touches to create a dialogue between the artificial and the natural. This work represents my technical research in clay work, exploring various finishes and complex textures. Through this contemplative piece, I invite the viewer to reflect on time, the fragility of marine ecosystems, and the beauty of natural processes of transformation.
