Wrecks
Through this series of wrecks and boats, I seek to capture the imprint of time on the marine world. My gaze falls as much on the colorful rowboats, still vibrating with a fragile vitality, as on the sunken boats, silent witnesses of a bygone past. During my diving expeditions, I venture into remote places: deserted docks, submerged industrial structures, forgotten wrecks, where the sea and coral slowly metamorphose the material. These observed scenes become the essence of my paintings: images of abandonment, transformation, but also resistance. Through my works, I strive to reveal both the raw beauty of the seabed and the fragility of aquatic ecosystems threatened by human activity. Each rough texture, each burst of light, each fragment of boat becomes a whisper addressed to the oceans, to remind us that the sea is a living memory and a force in perpetual mutation.
